The global economic scenario is changing rapidly and India is facing the repercussions. What was modern yesterday, is suddenly obsolete today. There is great demand for managers who can keep pace with this changing scenario. In fact, what the industry needs in the new millennium, is managers who can take control and make things happen rather than simply follow others. This is precisely what my aim when I started the Rizvi Education Society's - Rizvi Academy of Management. The Rizvi Academy of Management aims to develop a spirit of enterprise in its students. The system of training and education practised by the academy ensures that it develops managers who are true leaders in every sense. It is necessary for our students to keep before themselves the national, economic and social objectives while trying to achieve professional excellence in the field of management.
Director Industry, trade and commerce pose both a challenge and an opportunity today. The need today is for managers with well developed personalities, who cannot only fulfill the demands of the present but also foresee the challenges of the future. To prepare managers for the new millennium, Rizvi Academy of Management follows a well planned methodology of education and training. Equal importance is given to theoretical knowledge and its practical applications. The academy gives adequate weightage to creativity and a participative style of leadership, which are essential qualities for the leaders of tomorrow. The academy strives to inculcate a passion for individual, organisational and social excellence. With these qualities, I am sure the students of Rizvi Academy of Management will be empowered to effect a paradigm shift in the management of industry in the new millennium.
